Vivid Motion Inc. is a 501-c-(3) non-profit organization and was started by local dancers in Portland, Maine who wanted to perform and share their love of dance with the community. Too often dance performance is seen as artsy or boring, filled with deep meanings and a secret language.

Vivid Motion Inc. believes that dance can be entertaining to watch as well as to do. Our performances are filled with dances meant to entertain. And if a little meaning seeps through that's ok.

Why should you come see one of our shows? As one of our founders is fond of saying "you can pay only a little more than it costs to see a movie, and see a real live person from your very own town."
